• Acting for Two: Dave Coulier voices both Felix and Rock Bottom in this film.
• Descended Creator: Don Oriolo, then owner of Felix, provides the voice of Poindexter in this film.
• End of an Age: To date, this is the last cartoon starring Felix the Cat, and was also the last Felix work made by Felix the Cat Productions before the series was sold to Dreamworks in 2014 (and then acquired by NBC/Universal in 2016 when they bought out Dreamworks).
• Stillborn Franchise: This was intended to be the first of three Direct to Video Felix films, but due to poor sales, not only have the other two never happened, but it was the final nail in the coffin for Felix as a whole.
