• Creator Backlash: Kristin Brewe, Erin's creator, was not happy about some of the rule 34 art created of the character.
• Rule 34 – Creator Reactions: One of the biggest reasons that the Erin Esurance ad campaign was discontinued was due to a lot of Rule 34 art of Erin being made, up to the point that said erotic fanart of Erin would pop up on Google Images even if all you did was search for Esurance itself.
