Trivia / Dracula the Un-Dead (2009)

Go To

  • In Name Only: The book is claimed to be the "authorized" sequel, however Dracula, both book and character, has been in the Public Domain for over nearly half a century, and was in the public domain from almost the word go in the United States, where Dracula has had the most success in terms of literary and film success. As such, the book is only "authorized" in the sense that a member of the Stoker family wrote it. However, the fact that it claims that the original book got almost everything about the character wrong has left most fans to consider it a sequel in name only, to say nothing of it being considered an "authorized" sequel, since the Stoker estate has no real control over Dracula due to it falling into Public Domain.
  • Similarly Named Works: Has almost the same name as another Dracula sequel, Dracula the Undead.
