- What Could Have Been: Back when it was first serialized, Kaiman and Risu were actually gonna be the same person, Risu's spirit was gonna be the original personality and face of Kaiman, but Hayashida thought it was gonna be pretty cliché and so she changed it and created Aikawa and his whole backstory. This is actually alluded near the end of the series when Hole inhabitants see Risu and think he's Kaiman.
