• Content Leak:
  • Two low-quality images, one revealing Poppy, and another revealing the Mega-Minions, was leaked sometime prior to the trailer's release.
  • A 30-second advertisement of the inminent trailer, which shows the middle sequence of the trailer involving Poppy, was leaked in good quality on January 29 2024. The full trailer would end up releasing later that day.
• Dueling Works: Released only a few weeks after another animated sequel, Pixar's Inside Out 2.
• Early-Bird Release: The film is planned to be released first in Australia/New Zealand and most of Latin America during June of 2024.
• Sequel Gap: In terms of the main Despicable Me films, Despicable Me 4 will be released seven years after Despicable Me 3, which came out in 2017.
• The Other Darrin:
  • Madison Polan is Agnes' third voice actor after Elsie Fisher and Nev Scharrel.
  • In the Swedish dub, after voicing young Gru in Minions: The Rise of Gru, Andreas Rothlin Svensson is now voicing the character as an adult as well, taking officially over the role after Henrik Dorsin.
