• Inspiration for the Work: This film happened because one of the producers requested that Doug Campbell write and direct a location-based Thriller and mentioned that his brother-in-law owned a private airplane they could use for the shoot. Campbell then brainstormed the concept of a deranged flight instructor and quickly wrote the script.
• Those Two Actors: Marc Herrmann (Jake) and Anna Marie Dobbins (Annie) would pair up again in the David DeCoteau-directed Ion Romantic Comedy Christmas Together—he as a bespectacled young small town widower, she as a New Yorker who unwittingly rents his guest house from his precocious 11-year-old daughter. Romance Ensues.
