• He Also Did: Ko Takeuchi, the character designer and art director of the WarioWare and Rhythm Heaven series, was a 3D modeller on D2.
• What Could Have Been: The original plot for D2 involved a pregnant Laura having her unborn child ripped out of her by a supernatural force, magically aged, and flung back in time. The player would step into the shoes of her now-teenaged son as he attempted to escape from a mysterious castle while fending off various supernatural attacks. This may or may not have been a direct sequel to the first D; either way, the game was scrapped when the Panasonic M2 (the console it was being developed for) was canceled.
