  • This is the first of five movies Georges Lautner directed with Jean-Paul Belmondo in the cast. Le Guignolo, Le Professionnel, Joyeuses Pâques and L'inconnu dans la maison would follow.
  • Dialogue writer Michel Audiard teamed up again with Lautner. They have worked together on a number of films from Les Tontons flingueurs to Le Professionnel.
• Those Two Actors: Jean-Paul Belmondo and Marie Laforêt would be cast again in Les Morfalous and Joyeuses Pâques in the 1980s.
