• Creator's Pest: The writer has admitted that while there were originally plans for Rolo that got scrapped, said plans were all omgitsTabi's idea, and that otherwise, the writer despises Rolo, having Trollouche speak through the Fourth-Wall Mail Slot in that he doesn't care what ever justification canon had for him liking Rolo, that this go around he has no lost love for them and thinks their early death was Laser-Guided Karma, and that if left solely to Trickster's direction, Rolo would die no matter what.
  TricksterPriest: The writer doesn't like Rolo to begin with. The story arc that was planned was Tabi's idea that the writer thought was interesting to include. The writer never planned for Rolo to survive in his own plans.
• Dueling Works: With/against White Knighting For Fun And Profit, a fic written by Eva Unit 01 with a similar premise but starring Suzaku instead of Lelouch in part as a critique and commentary on Codes and Geass. While the two fics and their casts may be at loggerheads with each other, the authors seem to consider it a Friendly Rivalry.
• Flip-Flop of God: The writer has been coy about whether or not Shirley is out of the story for good after being Put on a Bus.^Context In an effort to avoid her suffering her canon fate, Trollouche decides to Break Her Heart to Save Her, viciously turning her down so that she'll have no reason to remain at Ashford after Joseph is released, allowing her and her mother to take Joseph back to the Homeland for medical treatment. The Fourth-Wall Mail Slot has the characters operating under the belief Shirley is gone for good for her own safety, but the writer has been vague whenever directly asked if she's gone for good.
• Trolling Creator: The author frequently expresses unrestrained glee at the angry reactions to the darker chapters he posts.
• What Could Have Been: The author occasionally mentions changed plans that would have altered the course of the story had they been done. One such plan mentioned was an increased role for Rolo including their own story arc, but unfortunately had to be scrapped due to planning issues. Instead, Rolo is killed after an initial confrontation with C.C. and Iah'bahad.
• Word of God: The writing team regularly interact with users on Questionable Questing, either directly or via a Fourth-Wall Mail Slot for the characters, and as such end up answering questions they may have.
  • They have confirmed the fic will not be using elements from Code Geass: Oz the Reflection or Code Geass: Renya of Darkness. The former due to the fact that when the fic was conceptualized, they were unaware Oz was a thing, and as a result it's near impossible to fit Oz into the plot after how far the fic has progressed. For the latter, it's because, by their own admission, they hate Renya and consider it poorly written garbage, and subject it to Fanon Discontinuity.
  • When asked about the fates of the characters from Code Geass: Akito the Exiled, they elaborated that the wZERO unit left for parts unknown, their members in the wind for now while the Black Knights pillaged their tech, and that Shin Hyuga Shaing was assassinated by NOD.
