- This was the first and last starring role for Carrot Top. Reportedly, there were plans for Carrot Top to star in two other films and have him become a star à la Pauly Shore, but the film's failure put the kibosh on that.
- It also pretty much damaged Courtney Thorne-Smith's movie career beyond repair. She left Melrose Place to do a movie with Carrot Top, and all of her further successes would be in TV sitcoms.
