Trivia / Carry on Laughing!

Go To

  • Creator Backlash: Dick Vosburgh didn't like the laughter track on "Orgy and Bess", claiming the script dragged on due to the constant pauses for the laughs.
  • Deleted Role: Simon Callow and Richard Wattis were cut from "Orgy and Bess", although Callow remained in the credits.
  • Older Than They Think: A Carry On take on King Arthur as seen in "Under the Round Table" and "Short Knight, Long Daze" had been suggested by Jim Dale during the filming of Carry On Cleo.
  • Throw It In!: Peter Butterworth ad-libbed some visual humour into "The Prisoner of Spenda", such as when he hides behind a potted plant in the restaurant and quickly grabs a puff on his cigarette before bringing his cloak across his face.
