  • Breakthrough Hit: Two. Hell Chose Me was a major musical leap forward, helped them break their reputation as a Suicide Silence clone, won them a lot of critical respect and new fans, and helped them break out of the low-level support pool that they had been mired in up to that point, while Slow Death did much of the same and gave them the ability to be a consistently well-drawing headliner, and was critically viewed as a far more focused and consistent take on the new sound that they were going for on Die Without Hope, and sold far more than they expected to.
  • Screwed by the Network: Very nearly happened to them. Victory Records treated them horribly and barely promoted them, and the fact that it was Victory meant that they were industry untouchables when they started trying to jump ship because no one wanted to deal with their label. If it wasn't for the short hiatus and Nuclear Blast being willing to give them a chance, they would not have survived.
