• Keep Circulating the Tapes: While the game got ported to N64, the vastly superior original arcade version never received any kind of port. Unless you happen to own a real arcade machine (unlikely unless you're loaded), the only other option is via emulation.
• Permanent Placeholder: The infamous billboard on the Mojave Desert track in the N64 port turned out to be an accidental example; the programmer responsible felt he was to replace all the billboards in that exact moment, and threw in that message with the intent that someone would notice and replace it. But it was never caught, and he forgot about it, so it ended up being in the final product.
