• All-Star Cast: Michelle Yeoh, Donnie Yen, Tony Leung, Jimmy Lin (a popular Taiwanese singer at the time) and Joey Wang of A Chinese Ghost Story fame.
• Deleted Scene: The theatrical cut ends shortly after Eunuch Tsao's death, and the audience are left to assume the heroes then goes about living their own lives. However, there's an alternate ending scene (that's not available with any official DVD release) which is a Downer Ending; Meng decides his heart belongs with Butterfly, his true lover, and departs. A heartbroken Sister Ko then decide to throw herself off a cliff (!!!) and Yip Cheung, still in love with Sister Ko, jumps off with her. Whether they died or not isn't made clear - said ending can be seen on YouTube.
