• Promoted Fanboy: The whole work, highlighting several well-known members of the fandom including Dusty Kat, The Living Tombstone and Purple Tinker. Further, the animation work includes those of JanAnimations, numerous musical works from the fans, including Acoustic Brony and Mic the Microphone, and lots of artwork.
• Why Fandom Can't Have Nice Things:
  • There were bonus discs and side projects planned to have a lot of bonus features, including hundreds of hours not used in the documentary. However, this has been cancelled due to low sales caused mostly by rampant pirating. Whoops. (This was made up by great sales on Amazon.com.)
  • Subverted, the staff ran another donation drive to raise money to pay for editing some of it into another doc called Bronies: The Lost Tapes, which managed to exceed its goal by 10000$.
