• The Cast Showoff: Most of The Chicken Girls cast can sing and are given multiple opportunities to sing.
  • In Total Eclipse Cassie takes up dancing, letting former Dance Moms castmember Mackenzie Ziegler show of her dancing
  • In Chicken Girls season 8 Walker plays violin during the school play. Liam-Alexander Newman is a trained violinist
• Dawson Casting: Mostly averted as Brat prefers to cast teenagers but there have been some notable expectations
  • Carter Southern was 21 when he first started playing Isaac Jones on Zoe Valentine. The age difference is painful obvious anything he shares a scene with Anna Cathcart (Zoe) an Older Than They Look 16-year-old.
  • At the time of filming season 1 of Dirt Tayler Holder (Luke) was 21 and Blaine Maye (Johnny) was 20, both playing teenagers. Not nearly as noticeable as the above example as both look to be the same age as Lilia Buckingham (Autumn) who was 15 at the time.
  • Averted with Leo's actor Thaddaeus Ek who just barely turned 13 when starting in season 8 of Chicken Girls, and doesn't look a single day younger. Given his prior credits it's likely the main reason he landed with Brat was that he hit a growth spurt just as pandemic production shutdowns were ending.
• Do It Your Self Theme Tune: From season 2 onwards Annie LeBlanc(Rhyme) sings the Chicken Girls theme song. Sophie Michelle sings the Stage Fright theme song.
  • A variation with Red Ruby and Crown Lake where Brat stars Indiana Massara and Annie LeBlanc sing the theme songs but neither appear on the show.

  • Sisters Annie and Hayley LeBlanc play sisters Rhyme and Harmoney McAdams
  • Siblings Dylan and Caden Conrique play cousins, Kayla Seltzer and Tim Sharpe
  • Siblings that play unrelated characters are Brooke (Ellie) and Holland (Flash) Bulter, and Riley (Quinn) and Mads (Birdie) Lewis.
• You Look Familiar: Annie LeBlanc is Rhyme McAdams in Chicken Girls and Jo Chambers A Girl named Jo. Emily Skinner is Diana in Total Eclipse and Chloe Hauser in Crown Lake. Lilia Buckingham is Autumn in Dirt and provides the voice for Heather in Crown Lake.
