• What Could Have Been: Shortly after the series ended, Brad revealed the scrapped story ideas that he and Leslie had.
  • There was a number of ideas was for Matt and Fort Shadaloo that Brad and Leslie decided not to do because they thought the stories would be boring and take the series in an unwanted direction. They also believed that the stories would make Matt irredeemable in the eyes of the reader, as he was already somewhat unlikable and each of the stories would have him treating his friends poorly in some way. One of the ideas would have had Matt run out of his military earnings and having to find work at the mall. He would then discover that Dan also worked there as a night shift janitor and would have been put in a managerial position over him. This would eventually lead to some conflict between the two. Another idea was that Matt and Fort Shadaloo would have went to a fighting game tournament that Dan and Kim were also attending. Curt and Dan would have butted heads, as Dan was the one who gave Curt his most humiliating gaming defeat. This would have escalated to the point where Matt had to choose between which group of friends to side with and he would have pick Fort Shadaloo. The final idea with Fort Shadaloo was that Matt would have asked Jenny out, only to be turned down. He would have had such a negative reaction that he would have been kicked out of the house.
  • In addition to the above, other ideas were revealed, such as Hai’s radio show getting so popular that it invoked a widespread neo-80s fad across Sucre Marron to the point where it got burnt out and overplayed.
  • Derrick and Melissa would have attended a Rock Cocks concert, possibly tying into a chapter of that series.
  • It would have been revealed that Kim was adopted and her foster parents would have been introduced.
  • Johnny Panom, a movie star and a background character who appears on posters, would have appeared and would have been a fleshed out character and possibly would have met the main cast.
  • Dan would have gotten into a car wreck.
  • There would more storylines about roadtrip and anime conventions and Rikki would have gotten his own chapter.
  • One of the ideas that Brad regrets not doing is one where the cast learn their high school is being demolished so they sneak into it the night before for nostalgia.
  • It was also revealed that Curt and Jenny would have gotten together and Matt would have eventually found a girlfriend.
