- Trolling Creator: On January 26th, 2022 Game Science released what at first appeared to be a behind the scenes-video
on the Black Myth YouTube channel. In the video, after talking a lot about the technique and intricacies of motion capture, the studio seemingly goes bankrupt, with the creators deciding to open a restaurant instead. The video ends with a message from the creators that "life is so much more than games", along with a reassurance that the game is still being worked on and that the next gameplay footage trailer is coming.
