• Creator Backlash: Some of the people who were involved with the creation of this story later showed some dissatisfaction with it, not because of the quality of the script (as Paul Magrs can reliably turn in a good script and this was no exception) but because they resurrected one of the least popular characters in the franchises' history in a very experimental story to a mixed reception.
  • They had replaced the original actor with Andrew Sachs (with some commentary saying that the role of Adric was "now played by an actor"). This had the consequence of angering Matthew Waterhouse to the point where he very nearly didn't return to reprise Adric.
  • Since the people in the company enjoy the "family" dynamics they have while performing and behind the scenes, they later regretted the rude comments they made when this story was being produced and promoted.
• The Other Darrin: Matthew Waterhouse had declined to return for the audios, so Andrew Sachs replaced him.
