Trivia / Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe

• Approval of God: Canadian astronaut, Chris Hadfield watched the movie's debut and found the parody of himself, Jim Hartson hilarious.
• Money, Dear Boy: Mike Judge mostly did the film to raise money for a new animation studio.
• The Other Darrin: The Latin American Spanish dub replace almost the entire cast from previous animated adaptations, with the sole exception of Salvador Delgado as Principal McVicker. In this case this is justified, as many of the previous voice actors are already retired or dead.
• Role Reprise: Susan Bennett, the original voice of Siri, appears as the Siri that Beavis thinks is Serena.
• Sequel Gap: Taking into account the time passed between movies, Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe came 26 years after the original Beavis and Butt-Head Do America. And even taking into account the series itself, including the now non-canon 2011 revival, it's still been a pretty lengthy amount of time with a good 11 years having gone by between the first revival and this movie.
• What Could Have Been: According to Mike Judge, there was originally a scene where Van Dreisse encounters the duo in present-day Highland and due to them being gone for over twenty-years, doesn't recognize them.
