Creator Backlash: trvn has admitted to not being proud of how he wrote Blake due to subjecting her to Adaptational Jerkass and how it came across as character bashing when he had no intention of doing so. trvn also made it a point to apologize for how she was written and would be more cautious in regards to writing her moving forward.
Word of Gay: The author has confirmed Makoto's orientation in the story as well as in the author's notes. He also stated that the inspiration came from an interview with the creator of the BlazBlue series.
