• Banned in China: Due to the 2022 invasion of Ukraine by Russia, and the resulting (increased) bans on Russian propaganda and media, the game is banned in Ukraine, which accuses it of "romanticizing communist ideology and the Soviet Union".
• Colbert Bump:
  • Three of the top ten positions in Yandex Music, one of Russia's primary music streaming services, are held by the songs from the game's soundtrack within a month since the game's release, one of them ("Komarovo") in the first spot.
  • Nu, Pogodi! has also enjoyed a resurgence in popularity on YouTube where all the episodes are officially available now that people are looking for the full episodes, given that very little of its Tom and Jerry-esque humour is hidden behind a language barrier.
• Trolling Creator: The internet joke that the game contained an eleven hour set of sex scenes involving the robot ballerinas.
• What Could Have Been: Zinaida was originally envisioned as a merchant character, using her flying hut to move around and meet up with Sergey throughout the story in order to sell him equipment, before NORA was created to fulfill this purpose.
