• The Danza: Averted. Annabelle Wallis plays as the protagonist of Annabelle...but her character isn't named Annabelle (it's Mia). The title does refer to a character (well, two if you count the doll), though, namely the cultist who threatens the main characters.
• Fake American: Mia Form's actress, Annabelle Wallis, is a native Brit (her mother is Irish).
