  • Acting for Two: In the Bang Zoom! English dub, Brianna Knickerbocker voices Yuzuha Isazu and Gummi.
  • Adaptation First: The manga adaptation premiered over three months before Netflix released the anime.
  • Blooper: Given that Netflix used the initial takes of the first English dub, it's no surprise that said takes included some flubbed lines.
  • Channel Hop:
    • After the series streamed on Netflix, reruns aired on Tokyo MX and BS11 in 2020.
    • The English dub was originally dubbed at Miami-based Studios VOA, before switching to Bang Zoom! Entertainment.
  • Creator Backlash: Most of the staff and cast for the first English dub were shocked that Netflix used only the first takes.
  • Directed by Cast Member:
    • In the Bang Zoom! English dub, Steve Staley was the voice of Ayumu Hori and the ADR Director.
    • In the Latin American Spanish dub, Ricardo Méndez was the ADR Director and the voice of Kyousuke Isazu.
    • The Italian dub was directed by Patrizio Patra, the voice of Yoshihiko Sagami.
  • Dueling Dubs: The series has two complete English dubs that, in a rather unorthodox fashion, were both commissioned by Netflix and both released in 2018. The first dub was produced by the US branch of Malaysia-based IYUNO Media Group and dubbed at Studios VOA in Miami, Florida. Despite the studio doing everything they could to perfect the dub, Netflix only used the first takes, which didn't go over well with the public. That October, a more faithful dub was produced by Burbank-based Bang Zoom! Entertainment, who had already established a relationship with Netflix, and replaced the Miami dub, which quickly became extinct.
  • Keep Circulating the Tapes: The first English dub was streamed on Netflix from March 9, to October 5, 2018. All subsequent releases use Bang Zoom! Entertainment's dub, which was released on October 6, 2018. Since then, the first dub has become hard to find. So your best bet to getting the episodes with the first dub would be to trade with someone who's recorded it off of Netflix during this time period.
  • Network to the Rescue: When the show debuted in early 2018, the first English dub's negative reception led to Netflix re-dubbing it with Los Angeles-based voice actors.
  • The Other Marty: The English release was originally dubbed at Studios VOA in Miami, Florida. However, because of that dub's negative reception, the series was re-dubbed at Bang Zoom! Entertainment in Burbank, California, and was released in October 2018.
  • Screwed by the Network: According to Kazuki's initial English VA, Jason Kesser, Netflix initially dubbed the series at Studios VOA. Unfortunately, Netflix only used the first takes for their release despite the studio doing everything they could to perfect the dub.
  • Written by Cast Member: In the Bang Zoom! English dub, Rachel Robinson is not only Akiko Nanbara's voice actress, but is also the ADR scriptwriter.
