Generally, Metal Heroes takes place in The Present Day. Most crossovers have the vast majority of Metal Heroes residing in a Shared Universe along with the Super Sentai. Also depending on Schizo Continuity, they may share a world with Kamen Rider, or they may be seperate universes within the Toei Tokusatsu multiverse.

Revival Era
- 2012
- Space Sheriff Gavan arrests the Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger, the 35th Super Sentai and band of heroic space pirates, as part of his ploy to lure out a Zangyack-allied mole in the Space Police. The mole, Weeval, reveals himself to be Ashurada of the Makuu who plots to resurrect Gavan's old enemy, Don Horror. He is defeated by both Gavan and the Gokaigers. Meanwhile, an attempt by Basco to seize the Gokai Galleon while the Gokaigers are occupied is thwarted by the Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters. (Gokaiger vs. Gavan)
- Gavan makes a brief appearance on Earth as he saves Masato Jin of the Go-Busters from the Vaglass Junkloid, departing as quickly as he came. (Go-Busters vs. Beet Buster vs. J)
- 2013: The Space Sheriffs come to Earth to apprehend the magical Kamen Riders Wizard and Beast, who they mistakenly believed responsible for a series of magical incidents that have been plaguing the universe. As it turns out, they were caused by Space Shocker, itself a front for the revival of the Space Crime Syndicate Madou. Fighting alongside both Kamen Riders and Super Sentai, the Space Sheriffs see that the Madou are defeated. (Super Hero Taisen Z)
- 2015:
- Jiraiya confronts Super Sentai #39, Shuriken Sentai Ninninger, whom he had mistaken for their enemies, the Izayoi Way Ninja Army Corps. Once the misunderstanding is cleared, the joining forces against the Advanced Yokai Konakijiji. Earning his approval, the Ninningers obtain a Nin Shuriken which grant them his techniques while returning the Optical-magnetized Light Vacuum Sword to Jiraiya. Convinced by Takaharu Igasaki (AkaNinger) to retire from the frontlines and allow the next generation of ninjas to take the lead against the forces of evil, Jiraiya accepts the position of President of the Committee to Protect Ninja Honor, having been headhunted by their agents. - For the coming New Year, Jiraiya sends Sky Ninja Shurikenger to assess the Ninningers in order to record their progress. (Ninninger Shinobi 43)
