Pre-series

  • 18th Century: Reckless space biker Helmedor is imprisoned on prison planet Jail. (Megaranger vs. Carranger)
  • 1972: Minoru Green Racer is born.
  • 1973: Kyousuke Jinnai/Red Racer is born.
  • 1977: Natsumi Shinohara/Yellow Racer and Youko Yagami/Pink Racer are born.
  • 1978: Naoki Domon/Blue Racer is born.
  • 1990: The Space Bosozoku Bowzock is formed.
  • 1996: At the start of the New Year, Gynamo receives a fortune letter that says his luck would improve with planets starting with the letter "H", directing him and the Bowzock to Planet Hazard where they commence the systematic destruction of the planet. Only Dappu and his father, who left the planet prior, survived.

Series1996:

  • Guided by the Car Constellations while stowing aboard the Baribariban as it sets course to Earth, Dappu reaches the planet first and forcefully recruits five workers as the Pegasus Garage to become the legendary Carrangers to protect their planet from the Bowzock. (Ep. 1) In response to being driven off Earth, Gynamo sends down BB Donpa (Ep. 2) and RR Rii. (Ep. 3) in failed attempts to destroy Earth.
  • While investigating Earth food, Bowzock scientist Inventor Grotch grows giant after eating something. After research, he discovers it to be the imo-youkan purchased at the Imochou shop, which the Bowzock begins to use to become giant to fight the Carranger. With the Bowzock's giant abilities, Dappu link the Carranger further with the Kurumagic constellations to create vehicles to assist in fighting them, which can further combine into RV Robo. The Carrangers defeat MM Mogu. (Ep. 4 & 5)
  • The Carrangers defeat QQ Kyuutan. (Ep. 6)
  • The Carrangers defeat NN Nerenko. (Ep. 7)
  • The Carrangers defeat YY Bingo. (Ep. 8)
  • The Carrangers defeat YY Gonza. (Ep. 8)

  • Signalman, a police officer from planet Police, arrives on earth to assist the Carrangers in defeating Bowzock. The Carrangers defeat UU Wurin. (Ep. 12)
  • While on Earth to deal with Signalman for the Bowzock, Beauty Zonnette falls for Red Racer (Kyousuke Jinnai) as love at first sight. The Carrangers defeat Revived UU Wurin. (Ep. 13)
  • The Carrangers defeat Elekinta (Ep. 14)
  • The Carrangers defeat GG-Goki Chan (Ep. 15)
  • The Bowzock hire Instructor Ritchihiker as consultant in assisting their invasion and management of the Carranger. The Carrangers defeat JJ Jetton. (Ep. 16)
  • The Carrangers defeat ZZ Zeri. (Ep. 17)
  • The Carrangers defeat OO Oopa. (Ep. 18)

  • Kyousuke and Naoki tame Pegasus Thunder and Dragon Cruiser, two legendary wild cars of space they use for team mobility. The Carrangers defeat WW Waritcho. (Ep. 20)
  • The Carrangers defeat AA Abanba. (Ep. 21)
  • The Carrangers defeat CC Chakko. (Ep. 22)

  • Radietta, princess of planet Fanbelt and Carranger fan, appears on Earth where she declares herself the sixth "White Racer" of the team. The Carrangers defeat SS Zoku Red. (Ep. 25)
  • The Carrangers defeat DD Donmo. (Ep. 26)
  • The Carrangers defeat XX Mileno. (Ep. 27)
  • Signalman returns to Police to take care of business with his family. During the "Bowzock Festival" of the invaders, a bolt of energy that was to hit a human to be shared by all Bowzock accidentally hits Ritchihiker, mutating him into Ritchi Ritchihiker and deteriorating his mind into insanity. The Carrangers defeat HH Wasshoishoi. (Ep. 28)
  • Ritchi Ritchihiker builds the Braking mecha and uses it and the support of Grotch and Deputy Leader Zelmoda to take over the Bowzock, forcing President Gynamo and Zonnette into exile on Earth. While Dappu enters a hibernation period to recover his Kurumagic, Ritchi Ritchihiker and the Braking easily defeat the Carranger and capture the RV Robo. (Ep. 29)
  • The Carranger gain the trust of the mysterious VRV Master and gain utilization of his VRV Machines, which they use to defeat Braking. (Ep. 30)
  • After further training with the VRV Machines, the Carranger combine into VRV Robo, which destroys an upgraded Braking and kills Ritchi Ritchihiker. (Ep. 31)
  • With Ritchi Ritchihiker's death, Gynamo reclaims Bowzock command, and soon after the Carrangers recover the RV Robo. The Carrangers defeat ZZ Gyuri. (Ep. 32)
  • Dappu revives from his hibernation. The Carrangers defeat UU Ussu. (Ep. 33)
  • Radietta returns to Earth, where she realizes Zonnette is her runaway older sister, Vanity Mirror Fanbelt. The Carrangers defeat FF Munchori. (Ep. 34)
  • Reckless Dash Emperor Exhaust, the true leader of the Bowzock, arrives on earth. Signalman returns from Police having been brainwashed by Exhaus into fighting the Carranger believing it would save his son Sigtarou from his sickness. The Carrangers defeat GG Boon. (Ep. 35)
  • The Carranger trick Signalman into drinking a cider that clears his body of the gas, which also saves Sigtarou. The Carrangers defeat BB Koiya. (Ep. 36)
  • Exhaus approaches the Bowzock directly for the first time to give them the powerful Norishiron 12 mecha. (Ep. 37)
  • The Carrangers defeat PP Chiipuri. An accidental spread of youth cream by a Gorotsuki destroys the Norishiron 12 by reverting it back to it's original form: a cardboard sheet from a magazine used by Exhaus to build it. (Ep. 38)
  • The Carrangers fight with the Ohrangers to defeat SS Sutatanzo and Bara Mobile, the last warrior of Baranoia. (Carranger vs. Ohranger)
  • After Naoki adopts a Beager sent by Exhaus to help steal Earth's roads and replacing it's worn down teeth with dentures, the creature alarms the Carranger of the existence of the space emperor. The Carrangers defeat CC Patchoone. (Ep. 39)
  • The Carrangers defeat OO Batton. (Ep. 40)
  • After a fight with the Carranger, Dappu becomes captured by the Gorotsuki using three new mechs supplied by Exhaus. Dappu discovers the truth of the invasion of Earth and the manipulation of the Bowzock by Exhaus. With assistance of VRV Master, Dappu escapes from the Baribarian; however VRV Master sacrifices himself to prevent Dappu from being captured by Exhaus. After being captured and used for Exhaus' mechs, Dapp and the Carranger make up and use their Kurumagic to destroy the machines with both RV Robo and VRV Robo. (Ep. 41-43)
  • The Carrangers defeat MM Shuurisukii. (Ep. 44)
  • After discovering Exhaus' manipulations, Zonnette quits the Bowzock and returns to being Vanity Mirror, princess of Fanbelt. The Carrangers defeat EE Musubinofu. (Ep. 45)
  • Using the Bowzock to attack the Carranger with Norishiron Final, Exhaus uses the "drunkeness" of the five guardians of the Kurumagic constellations due to the Wine-Barrel Constellation to steal the source of the Carranger's power, causing them to lose their ability to fight. (Ep. 46)
  • The Bowzock attack Pegasus Garage, blowing it up with the Carranger still there. With no further need of the Bowzock, Exhaus flings them and their Baribarian to Earth to destroy both instantly; the ship is stopped by Signalman's Sirender who catches it as it plummets to Earth. With the assistance of Vanity Mirror Fanbelt, the Carranger and Bowzock finally make peace with one another. Using the Baribarian, the Carranger strike Exhaus, freeing their Kurumagic constellations. (Ep. 47)
  • Exhaus transforms into Exhaus Super-Strong where he easily swats down the Carranger until Gynamo uses a growth weakness with expired Imochou imo-youkan to shrink Exhaus to their size, cutting him off from the chaotic power of the universe and allowing the Carranger to finish him off. (Ep. 48)

Post-series

  • 1997: The Carrangers fight with the Megarangers to defeat Helmedor and Kani Nezilar. (Megaranger vs. Carranger)
  • 2001: As one of the first 24 Super Sentai, the Carrangers provide their support in the Gaorangers fight against Lost Highness Duke Rakushaasa. (Gaoranger vs. Super Sentai)
  • 2006: As one of the first 30 Super Sentai, Red Racer's Red Warrior spirit is inherited by AkaRed. (Boukenger vs. Super Sentai)
  • 2011: The Carrangers, among the first 34 Super Sentai, oppose an invasion of Earth by the Space Empire Zangyack in what becomes known the Legend War, ending with all Super Sentai sacrificing their power to destroy the invasion fleet. Dispersed throughout the universe, the powers ultimately resurface as Ranger Keys whilst the former Super Sentai disband. (Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger ep. 1, 199 Hero Great Battle)
  • 2012: A month following the defeat of the second Zangyack invasion, the powers of the 34 Super Sentai are returned to them by the Gokaigers. (Gokaiger ep. 51)
  • 2012: The Carrangers, among the first 34 Super Sentai, are apparently defeated by Tsukasa Kadoya (Kamen Rider Decade), Great Leader of Dai-Shocker which seeks to wipe out the Super Sentai, opposing Dai-Zangyack led by Emperor (formerly Captain) Marvelous (Gokai Red) who are hunting the Kamen Riders. Infact, all the presumed deceased Sentai and Riders had been transported to the dimensional rift, from which they emerge to defeat the new Shocker-Zangyack Alliance. (Super Hero Taisen)
  • 2017: The Carrangers, among the first 38 Super Sentai, provide their power for the Ninningers and Zyuohgers to defeat Gillmarda. (Zyuohger vs. Ninninger)
  • 2019: The Carrangers are embroiled in the Super Sentai Strongest Battle. (Super Sentai Strongest Battle)
