Given that the original cast has since moved on to bigger projects/other jobs, were unavailable, and, in the case of Lou Perryman, who played Umibozu in the ADV dub, died, the decision to recast the characters were necessary, though Sound Cadence Studios (who recorded the dub) did initially consider bringing back the OG cast.
