• Taj & others returning to the village following the intro assault.
• Likewise, the shell-shocked expression on the wife who had to witness Daskal's cruelty.
• Samad's death. At least it was quick.
• Whatever's up with Daskal. He mentions fighting against enemy tanks at AGE 8; being a Child Soldier to defend the Soviet Union against the Nazis at Stalingrad has clearly messed him up for life.
• When the tank comes across the deceased helicopter crew. Daskal even hangs his head in sorrow.
• Koverchenko's complete exhaustion at the end of the movie. Our Determinator of a protagonist has finally been defeated.
• Likewise, Taj's look of bewildered betrayal. He had made a friend, and now he's gone.
