- Whatever's up with Daskal. He mentions fighting against enemy tanks at AGE 8; being a Child Soldier to defend the Soviet Union against the Nazis at Stalingrad has clearly messed him up for life.
- When the tank comes across the deceased helicopter crew. Daskal even hangs his head in sorrow.
- Koverchenko's complete exhaustion at the end of the movie. Our Determinator of a protagonist has finally been defeated.
- Likewise, Taj's look of bewildered betrayal. He had made a friend, and now he's gone.
