• In one scenario, a pregnant teenager denies her unborn child to some expectant adoptive parents. While the actor playing the dad-to-be chases down the actress playing the teenager, two ladies approach the actress playing the sobbing mom-to-be. The women comfort her, and one of the ladies says a prayer about motherhood — moving the actress, WWYD veteran Traci Hovel, to genuine tears.
• The episode about child abduction. The little girl's mother was in near tears when she watched multiple people ignoring her daughter's cries for help.
• In an episode about a drag queen being berated by his parents for his appearance in a restaurant, the mother asked a woman listening nearby if she would be embarrassed in that situation. The woman replied, no, she would just be glad to have her son there at all, because she had just come from visiting the cemetery where her dead son was buried. This revelation stunned all the actors into silence.
