     General
  • It is made apparent how much of an impact the death of Misha's mother left on her and her father. Before her death, Misha was a cheerful girl who tried her best at school, but after her mother's passing, she degraded to a Bratty Half-Pint who refers to her father by his first name and became a recluse.

  • At some young age, Tsubame lost her father, and this motivated her to join the JSDF as part of his memory.

     Anime
  • Episode 1:
    • The episode explains that part of the reason as to why she scared the previous maids off was because she felt that they would jeopardize the memory of her mother.
    • Yasuhiro explains to Tsubame that after the death of his wife, Misha had him close off a room that most likely belonged to his late wife.
    • One can't help but to feel bad for Tsubame's schoolmate whose love rejection was turned down by her.

  • Episode 2:
    • Tsubame creates an avatar for a MMO gaming website as a means of befriending Misha. Just when it seems as though Misha was genuinely happy for once, Tsubame accidentally slips up by referring to her as "milady" causing Misha to exit the game.
    • While camping, Misha is offended by Tsubame's passing comment about how other hikers thought they were mother and daughter. Rather than being hurt, Tsubame bluntly agrees with Misha's statement that she could never replace her mother.

  • Episode 3:
    • This episode reveals that part of the reason as to why Misha refuses to go to school is because she believes that she would be picked on because of her being a half-Japanese, half-Russian girl. The episode has a flashback to where Misha promises to continue with school if it meant that her mother got better. When she died, Misha accuses her father of lying to her, and vows that she wouldn't be a good girl anymore.

  • Episode 4:
    • Tsubame pulls out one of her old school assignments about what she wanted to be when she grew up. After reading it, she glances over at a picture of her and her father.
    • Mimika volunteers to wear a dress that Tsubame had crafted, but she reveals that she felt insecure about herself because of her plain appearance and glasses. This does lead to some heartwarming moments between her and Misha, however.

  • Episode 5:
    • While Played for Laughs, Yui implies that she has some financial situation at home when she laments over how Misha not only gets a large amount for an allowance, but she also had her own maid.

  • Episode 6:
    • While she is sadomasochistic and it would ultimately give her thrills, Midori's brief moment of depression at being rejected (for the second time) by Tsubame does make Misha concerned for her.
    • The young girl that was being felt up by Midori who was investigating what made Tsubame prefer young girls who hadn't had their menstruation cycle. She broke into tears when the authorities arrived to arrest Midori.

  • Episode 7:
    • Tsubame's slightly hurt look when she was being fired by Misha.
    • Midori revealing that she had been experimenting around with different dresses as her way of trying to get Tsubame to like her.
    • At first, Misha is overjoyed by Tsubame's seeming willingness to leave after she fired her, but she slowly began to realize that she was missing her. Of course, this gets undermined sometime later when it turns out that Tsubame planned the entire thing.

  • Episode 9:
    • Misha is revealed to have received Kumagoro sometime prior to the death of her mother, and that without him, she feels that she would be alone again.

  • Episode 10:
    • Yasuhiro looks at a picture of his late wife, subconsciously stating that he and their daughter hadn't gone out on vacation for a long time since her death.
    • When Misha goes missing while trying to find a panda, Yasuhiro blames himself for not being too strict on Misha when she went off to the petting zoo earlier that day.
    • Misha gets lost in the woods and is scared that she would die alone. The episode also makes it clear that she misses her mother so much, that she nearly considers dying from freezing to death as a good thing.

  • Episode 11:
    • The episode begins with a flashback to Misha's mother working in the eponymous off limits room. After several heartwarming minutes]], this sets the tone for the rest of the episode.
    • When Misha discovers that someone had gone into her mother's room, she slowly becomes enraged, with her eyes becoming more feral in appearance. Tsubame then is forced to take the fall for Mimika and Yui by claiming that she entered into the room because it was too cold outside. The episode shows the depths of the trauma Misha faced when she lost her mother, and it is simply not pretty.

  • Episode 12:
    • Tsubame bluntly telling Misha that her mother isn't in that room and Misha's subsequent reaction.
    • Tsubame's backstory as she tells it to Misha. Losing her beloved father and being told a white lie which inspired her to enter the JASDF in the hopes of seeing her father when flying through the sky. Of course when she finally gets to fly she doesn't get to meet her father and the fact that she understood it even before actually getting to fly arguably makes it even sadder. Then she suddenly gets ill and gradually loses sight in her right eye which denied her to be a pilot anymore. And her condition looks very alike to glaucoma which probably means she's soon going to lose sight in her other eye as well.
