Tear Jerker / Snowdrop (2013)

• Of nigh-memetic proportions. A considerable portion of the comments on Snowdrop consist of people stating they actually cried upon watching it, especially the ending.
• Snowdrop is clearly struggling with her blindness, and her classmates teasing her doesn't help. Her teacher, Mrs. Windith, clearly cares about her and tries to do all she can to help her but Snowdrop doesn't want to be a burden.
• Snowdrop's wish on the twinkling stars, basically that she just wants to do something and not be useless for once. Her voice shakes and begins cracking near the end of it.
  Snowdrop: Twinkles... What good are twinkles? You can't wish on twinkles... I don't know if one of you is out there tonight in all the snow... I don't think you are... But... but please, if you are... I... I... I wish, I hope, I dream, I pray. By the princesses' rule, light my way. Please, I... I just want to show I can do something for once. Everyone else says I can't do anything. But... But I just... (sheds a Single Tear)
• Snowdrop's speech on how maybe Winter is sad that everypony doesn't like it and that it has more it can offer, doesn't just reflect her own feelings, but Princess Luna's too.
• The end of the story has a Time Skip to the Present day. Though Snowdrop lived a long and happy life, creating snowflakes and earning her cutie mark, she passed away at some point and now only one of her snowflakes is left, the very first one she ever made. This clearly takes a toll on Luna, who saw Snowdrop as her Only Friend during the time her night was unappreciated, but because of Luna's cooruption into Nightmare Moon and banishment, she Never Got to Say Goodbye.
  Luna: Is it really the last one we have?
  Celestia: It has been over a thousand years, sister, and she only made so many.
  Luna: Can we not save it?
  Celestia: You know she wouldn't have wanted that.
  Luna: But she... I.. I never got to...
  Celestia: I am sorry for that. I know she was a dear friend to you.
  Luna: The only one who ever truly knew my night.
  Celestia: She still knows it, Luna. You know that.
• The final scene has Luna lifting the vase and releasing the last snowflake, acting as the first snowflake of winter, as she silently says goodbye to her friend. The snowflake falls as the credits roll, and it lands on a flower on the ground, creating a pose similar to Snowdrop's cutie mark.
  Luna: (voice over) Thank you, my friend, for everything you gave and every wish you never knew came true. Goodbye...
