- Yuugi tries his best not to tear up after his grandpa jokes about him only finding "light tax fraud and patent infringement" while on his I-Island trip. This happens after his discovery of All Might's Secret Identity and his fear of how he should process that information.Yuugi: I wasn't trying to find anything!
Jii-chan: I know. (he says, sounding tired) I know. - Upon learning that All For One is still alive and will most likely go after Izuku, Toshinori looks as though he's about to cry over his young ward being targeted by the very monster he believed he killed. It's a heavy lift to know that his efforts to stop All For One were in vain and how he "passed" his burden onto Izuku.
- The last scene of Chapter 15 shows Yuugi having an emotional breakdown over the realization that his best friend Izuku could have died from the Tainted Vaccine if he had stayed Quirkless.
- Just before taking his Entrance Exam, Jounouchi has a panic attack in the girl's bathroom as he fears that he won't pass it because he isn't good enough like his friends.
- Nagare crudely explains to his cousin that he's going through with an Arranged Marriage even though he's gay, citing the needs of the Yuuki Clan outweigh his own. This on itself is rather tragic, but Yuugi takes a moment to reflect how restrictive and miserable his own life would be if he grew up under the Clan.
- Izuku gets a panic attack when he sees Jounouchi and Bakugou fight again as it not only brings about the tragic memory of the last time it happened but also the fact that he still cares for his former friend.
- After the villains attack the Sports Festival, Yuugi gets upset over how he and his friends already faced life-threatening peril on their first weeks at Yuuei. Especially since Izuku broke several ribs while fighting Nomus and Jounouchi got a knife lunged into his lung during the attack. In the end, Yuugi cries himself to sleep as his injured friends sleep beside him.
