- Lucy explaining how she was abandoned.Lucy: Because no one loved Lucy anymore. Somewhere along the line...they stopped smiling at Lucy. They stopped praising Lucy. Eventually, they forgot about Lucy. Then, then, one day...You: (thinking) Then one day, she found herself left in the dust - is probably what she wanted to say.
- The destruction of Lucy.
- Thankfully, her ending is a Tear Jerker of the best kind. 15 years after the end of the game, she is re-created by the protagonist, whom she had forgotten but remembers once he takes her to the junkyard where he first found her.
- The Distant Finale with the protagonist severing all ties with his father, which should be the most cathartic moment in the game, turns out to be surprisingly tragic thanks to a Perspective Flip showing the father's side of it, and how over the years he'd very, very slowly been coming around to accepting robots. Even a rebuilt Lucy can't stand how the protagonist treated him, and promises to do whatever she can to make things right.
