- Po being told by Shifu that he has to have someone to take over as Dragon Warrior.
- The Den of Thieves having a grudge against Zhen in which they plan on killing her is Played for Laughs initially. Though a Flashback of when The Chameleon was taking over Juniper City elaborates why, as when Han was trying to protect Zhen and keep her from provoking her wrath, she instead tried to steal from her. When this took the Chameleon's interest and she offered to take her in, Zhen abandoned Han and the thieves.
- Zhen’s Back Story is that she was on the street, where... while having now that family around her.
- Zhen’s betrayal. After getting a cage dropped on him, Zhen asks for the Staff of Wisdom to prop it with. When he hands it her without a second thought, Zhen coldly slinks away from a bewildered Po as the Chameleon enters from the shadows, upon which The Reveal is made that Zhen was in fact an apprentice for The Chameleon, who sent her to steal The Staff of Wisdom in the first place.
- Zhen's gradual remorse throughout the scene ensuing. She puts on a cold stoic front at first, though as the Chameleon elaborates to a heartbroken Po more and more, Zhen struggles to hide her conflict. When Po escapes and is confronted by the Chameleon disguised as her, Zhen can't take anymore and straight up warns Po, even screaming in horror when the Chameleon kicks him to his supposed death.
- The Chameleon's display of cruelty leads Zhen to ask if she only values her as a tool. She gets a Blunt "Yes" as a response, truly hitting home to Zhen that she forsaken her genuine and kind relationship with Po for a toxic and superficial one.
- The bunnies being abused by Granny Boar at her restaurant. It's very cruel and hurtful for them to be forced to become slaves by her while being tortured.
