- The moment after Natalie is tortured is very much this. She sits there silently traumatized after what happened to her, you for a bit, think she is dead. Samuel crying seeing his crush like this is extra sad to see, as he felt like he wasn’t able to protect her.
- Cyalux's betrayal counts. To see who seemed like a good friend turning out to have been leading a gang of racist Inklings this entire time. He also leaves them to die right after without a second thought. You can tell that Samuel and Luke are sad to see their friend turn out this way.
- After Sylvia is traumatized, it's shocking because Sylvia, whos normally such an energetic and carefree character, is reduced to an emotionally broken shell of her former self, just silent and upset, it's just so saddening to see her reduced to such a state.
- The video of Georgina's death in the third story is incredibly sad. She is slowly being blended by Tartar, screaming out desperately for someone to help, but with nobody to help, all she can do is apologize to Natalie and Dylan, without them being able to hear it.
- Ruby sacrificing herself to save Jade is one of the biggest ones in the series. We saw her change for the better and help the heroes, and she dies to save someone feeling that she isn't important compared to Jade.
- In the third, when Samuel and Natalie are trapped in the about to explode bomb station, and they believe they are going to die. To see them like this is sad for the audience as we have seen them come so far, and it may all end.
- Summer's situation with her Abusive Parents also qualifies. We see how badly the abuse has affected her and how horrible they were. In the extra short story “Agent’s Morning”, when a person calls her bad for being glad about her parent's death, she flips out at the person.
