Tear Jerker / George Carlin
As cynical as George was, the final monologue of his 1997 HBO special was absolutely moving. While these words were spoken years before his death, they come off as sort of a parting message to his audience and the world in general.
George: I believe we're part of a greater wisdom than we'll ever understand. I call it "The Big Electron." It doesn't punish, it doesn't reward, it doesn't judge at all. It just is, and so are we...for a little while. Thanks for being here with me for a little while. Take care of yourselves...and take care of somebody else.
