Tear Jerker / General and I

• He Xia is betrayed by the King of Yan, escapes a murder attempt, sees the woman he loves draw his pursuers away, and goes to find his parents... only to learn that his mother's killed herself and his father has (apparently) been murdered.
• Dong Zhuo is tortured, but refuses to say anything about Bai Ping Ting. Then Sima Hong pretends he has Bai Ping Ting prisoner and is going to kill her. Dong Zhuo believes him and tells him what he wants to know. Sima Hong then claims he's a spy and has him tortured even more.
• The deterioration of the relationship between He Xia and Bai Ping Ting. In episode one, they're good friends. By episode nine, He Xia holds a knife at Bai Ping Ting's throat and calls her a traitor.
• He Xia's death, even though he deserved to die by then. He imagines he sees Yao Tian as he's dying, and remembers their time together. His death is made sadder because Bai Ping Ting pushed him to his death, and Dong Zhuo, the only friend he has left, can only watch in horror.
