Tear Jerker / Free Guy

• Guy comes back to the bank, having leveled up quite a bit, and tries to get his best friend to join him. Buddy can't bring himself to do it.
  Buddy: That's not me, man.
• Millie reveals to Guy that the world is a video game and that he's an NPC. You can't help but feel sorry for both Guy and Millie at that moment, because there was no way around the reveal due to the circumstances, but it's still devastating for both. Guy lashes out at Millie, and she cries because she knows she's hurt him by telling him the truth. His last line in the scene really clinches Guy's feelings at that moment.
  Guy: You know, I may not be real. But for a second there, I felt pretty alive.
• After Free City is rebooted, Guy loses all the memories he shared with Millie. Thankfully, it doesn't take her long to jog them again, but seeing her desperately trying to get him to remember still hurts.
• Buddy's Disney Death as Antoine destroys the servers, causing him to turn into dust a la Avengers: Infinity War. Jodie Comer's ethereal cover of "Fantasy" only increases this.
  Buddy: I've been scared my whole damn life. I'm not scared anymore.
  Guy: I'm sorry.
  Buddy: I'm not. It's been the best day of my life. You get to that build. Show that we matter.
• Alex Trebek's cameo. Although it's a great shout out, Trebek died before the movie was released.
