Tear Jerker: Darius
The ending theme to Darius Gaiden (listen at the 3:50 mark). Normally, ending themes are supposed to give you a sense of accomplishment and make you feel happy. But damn, this ending music is depressing, as if something tragic has happened; in fact, tragic things do happen in the game's DownerEndings: the planet Darius is destroyed, the player is destroyed, or other depressing things happen.
