Tear Jerker / Bamse

• In Bamse och Trollskogen (Bamse and the Troll Forest) near the end, the moment where Bamse realizes that without magic, Skalman and the rest of his friends would be jinxed forever, is pretty sad especially when the titular bear weeps. This includes the wise turtle having to end his life as a tree stump… it eventually becomes an averting Heartwarming Moment when Jansson and Husmusen notice Lille Skutt and Skalman turning back to normal.
• Vargen's Start of Darkness is this from start to finish. He grew up in poverty, was raised to be a thief, and when he decided to mend his ways after falling in love with a law-abiding girl, he was accused of stealing anyway, lost his girlfriend, and became determined to stick to a life of crime.
