Tear Jerker / Another Life (2019)

• In episode 2, the others are celebrating the successes of their mission, but Niko goes to be alone due to the guilt of killing Ian in the first episode
  • When Cas is telling the others about who Ian was in the past, Niko is nearby but stays out of the room.
• Michelle's death, Cas is in tears while talking to her and according to the talk between William and Niko at the end of the episode, she is still shaken up about it.
• Sasha's death. As much of a jerk as he became, he didn't deserve to have an Achaia hijack his body. He ultimately dies of a Mercy Kill after regaining control of his body long enough to tell his friends to kill him.
• The end of Season 1. Just as Niko and her crew had successfully used Project Brimstone to destroy the Achaian Artifact in Zakir to free the survivors, the outraged Achaia quickly make a horrifying show of force, destroying the planet in front of everyone's eyes, set to Muse's The Void. Niko is utterly devastated and left so shocked that she barely has time to react to move the Salvare away from Zakir's debris.
• The damage the Salvare takes from Zakir's debris leads to Oliver and August's horrifying death by plasma leak. Worse, August was pregnant.
