• The story of Kim Eun-mi. After three miscarriages, she contemplated killing herself, when her husband was about to marry another woman to have children
• Oh So-jin and Hana’s side story. After their humiliation at So-jin’s husband’s hands when he catches them in the act, holding that over their heads to get Hana to play nice for him, their story ends with trying to persuade him to buy Hana, already knowing full well that he won’t, and knowing full well that he treats So-jin awfully, but having no other option than to try if they want to stay together. Dying before receiving a no is almost a mercy at that point.
