Delvebound (official site) is a fanmade tabletop game adaptation of the The Elder Scrolls franchise. It uses the d20 System and includes rules for playing as all of the classic Elder Scrolls races, as well as statblocks for many of its creatures. Many of its rules and classes are fundamentally pulled from the Basic Rules for fifth edition Dungeons & Dragons, though with modifications to make them better fit the setting.

The system is still being actively worked on.

See also The Unofficial Elder Scrolls RPG, another fanmade attempt at translating the franchise to a tabletop RPG.

Delvebound includes examples of the following tropes:

  • Call A Hitpoint A Smeerp: Among the modifications needed to make the d20 system better fit the world of Nirn, several mechanics have been renamed. A Mage's Spell Points are now Magicka, a character's Ability Scores are now Attributes, the Monk's Ki is now Stamina, and so on.
  • Character Class System: Some of the classes are heavily based on one of the core classes of D&D 5e, while others are more original to this game. They are:
    • The Barbarian, a fierce melee fighter well-suited to charging into combat.
    • The Bard, a musical spellcaster skilled in a variety of arts and adept at supporting their allies.
    • The Crusader, a skilled warrior wielding powerful Restoration magic.
    • The Mage, a powerful and versatile spellcaster.
    • The Monk, a master of hand-to-hand combat and unarmored self defense.
    • The Nightblade, a spellcaster who uses their magics to enhance mobility, concealment, and stealthy close combat.
    • The Ranger, an explorer who uses martial prowess to combat threats on the edges of civilization.
    • The Rogue, a scoundrel who uses stealth and expertise to overcome obstacles and enemies.
    • The Sorcerer, a spellcaster who is naturally talented and takes advantage of their ability to control the arcane.
    • The Spellsword, a spellcasting specialist trained in martial combat and destructive magic.
    • The Thief, a stealthy and highly-skilled individual more suited to picking pockets than to a direct confrontation.
    • The Warden, a spellcaster that draws power from nature.
    • The Warrior, a generalist master of martial combat, skilled with a variety of weapons and armor.
    • The Necromancer, added in Enemies of Elsweyr, a magic-user who specializes in the manipulation of the soul.
  • The Six Stats: Here referred to as Attributes, they are: Strength, Agility, Endurance, Intelligence, Willpower, and Personality.
  • Mana: Called Magicka, just like the video games.
