  • The Dakkad Rally in "Dhakkad Race" is named after the real-life Dakar Rally.
  • "Banana Fontana" is about Samosa pretending to be a popstar named Banana Fontana, which is most likely a reference to the similarly-named Disney show Hannah Montana.
  • The Season 2 episode "Toast Malone" features a character named Suga, who is a member of the band Ghee-TS. The same episode's eponymous rapper is a reference to Post Malone.
  • The episode "Khelo Samosa" has the gang saving fellow citizens from being controlled against their will in an arcade game with several similarities to real-life arcade games. Level 1 is meant to resemble Space Invaders, Level 2 is Donkey Kong, and Level 3 is one of the castle stages from Super Mario Bros.. Also, one of the game machines in the arcade is called "Pakwanman".
  • One episode features Corn Wick, who never fails a mission.
  • The episode "Dadi Ke Saath" features Vada briefly playing an electric guitar with the signature logo of Nirvana on it (the X-eyed smiley face with its tongue sticking out). The same guitar appears again in "Banana Fontana", where someone from the crowd gives the instrument to Banana Fontana (actually Samosa) to play.
  • The episode "Franky Dayaloo" shows that the actor Franky Dayaloo has starred in films called Kabhi Franky Kabhi Gham and Dilwale Franky Le Jayenge, parodies of the famous Bollywood films Kabhi Kushi Kabhie Gham and Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge respectively.
  • At the end of "Hair Today Gone Tomorrow", Dhokla is given a bunch of new Plant Hair styles that appear on the cover of a magazine called Bhogue, a reference to the real-life magazine Vogue.
  • In "Mission 925", Mayor Royal Falooda's costume has the famous hairdo and outfit of Elvis Presley.
  • Also in "Mission 925", Dhokla watches a show called Yeh Nashta Kya Kehlata Hai. There is an actual Indian soap opera titled Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.
  • The Ghee-20 cricket league from "Cricket Match" is named for the real-life T20 cricket league.
  • There are two in "Anda Bhatija":
    • The water in Samosa's cup shaking is a reference to the famous scene in Jurassic Park (1993) where Rexy causes the same thing to happen when she approaches.
    • Samosa's gang ride a bicycle to escape the military, who are after their alien friend, and get sent into the air. Their silhouette appears in front of a Gigantic Moon, just in ET The Extraterrestrial.
  • At the end of "Tufaan", Jalebi can be seen reading The Animator's Survival Kit of all books.
  • There is an episode titled "Freddy Uranus", after Queen member Freddie Mercury.
  • In "Chutney Dam", Samosa does the moonwalk dance in midair as he dives into the chutney lake.
  • "Viral Samosa" is also known as "Social Samosa", which is the name of a real-life Indian website focused on the economy.
