Going Under has a lot of these.

  • Zans' hoodie reads "Anti Aliasing Aliasing Club", a reference to the Anti Social Social Club apparel brand.
  • Defeating a boss displays the words "BOSS DISMISSED" on the screen, resembling Dark Souls' memetic "YOU DIED" text displayed whenever the Player Character croaks.
  • A skill you can find is titled "Move Fast And Break Things", referencing the motto adopted by Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg.
  • One Skill is named "Win Friends & Influence Monsters", a reference to the bestselling self-help book How to Win Friends and Influence People.
  • The icon for the Fail Forward Skill is of an egg with Jackie's hairdo tumbling from a brick wall, a clear spoof of Humpty Dumpty.
  • Interacting with Jackie's laptop in her room to listen to the game's soundtrack sits her in front of it, as a clear spoof of the classic Lo-Fi Girl image, such as by both sharing a catlike creature on a rainy windowsill.
  • Diamond Pickaxes can be found as weapons in Styxcoin, a reference to Minecraft.
  • A poster in Jackie's room reads "I am very small and have no money", a John Mulaney quote.
  • The Fro-Go, a pogo stick, vaguely resembles Pepe the Frog.
  • The Jaabs driven by Joblin Chauffeurs are a reference to Saab, a bygone Swedish car company.
  • In the room where the Joblin Union is found, who Ray demands you exterminate, there is "ALL WORK AND NO PLAY MAKES GRUGG A DULL BOY" written on the whiteboard.
  • One of the outfits you unlock from Imposter Mode is titled "the Soldier", and is modelled after the Ironclad from Slay the Spire.
  • The flavor text for the Upper Body Strength skill is "Now I'm a jerk, and everybody loves me!"
  • The car given by the StyxRoad App resembles a miniature Tesla Cybertruck.
  • The shopkeeper in Styxcoin is a slacker skeleton in a blue hoodie named Zans, a clear send-up to Sans of Undertale. Taking the camera behind the counter or checking his business card reveals that he has completely stolen Sans’ look, including his trademark pink slippers and black shorts with white stripes.
  • The name of the WheresApp App references WhatsApp.
  • The TubeYou App is an obvious send-up to YouTube.
  • What's that, Avie? Human souls are protected by an electrical field? Are they really Privacy Settings, or are they Absolute Terror Fields?
