The webseries is infamous for this:
- Mulan's group of companions are formed by Rock Lee, Saitama, Yamcha and Chiaotzu.
- The Cyclopses that assist the Olympians consists of various 1-eyed characters, such as Dusklops, Mike Wazowski and Scott Summers.
- Poseidon is modeled after Jason Momoa in Aquaman.
- When Hades is spying on Persephone, PicoDevimon/DemiDevimon is perching on his shoulder.
- Loki, instead, resembles Tom Hiddleston, who played his MCU counterpart.
- Hermes, in his video, is shown to be praised by Nami, Arsene Lupin, and Carmen Sandiego. Fittingly, they're all thieves, and Hermes was often said to be the patron god of thieves, among others. Wooloos are also shown among his beloved sheep. At one point he's also shown racing with The Flash, and guiding Miguel and Tulio.
- Kuzco, Daenerys Targaryen, and Whitney Houston all appear in Hestia's video.
- The Elric brothers appear in the Bluebeard video as the one who rescue the main protagonist.
- When she's tried for heresy, Joan of Arc rebukes the charges against her doing the "OBJECTION!" pose.
