The Black Nebula
- The concept of Inner Katsu is a reference to Shadow Meggy, even saying some of her lines.
- When Mika bullies Katsu, she says exactly what Bakugo said to Izuku when he bullies him for being powerless.
- Mika launching the Floran Extermination Order somewhat resembles Emperor Palpatine launching Order 66.
- When Ethyl recounts his memories with Desert Tumbler, Robin namedrops the Villains Fanon Wiki to describe Desert's extreme bloodlust.
- In prison, Desert Tumbler sings three songs, one being Rick Astley's Never Gonna Give You Up and another being Mariah Carey's All I Want For Christmas.
- When Mika gets back up when her mech is destroyed, she says exactly what Sir Benedict Cumbersnatch says during his villainous breakdown when the Phoenix Egg hatches, even having a similar breakdown herself.
- When Mika is fighting Ethyl in hand to hand combat, she namedrops a movie similar to 10 Things I Hate About You, except it's about Florans, to insult him.
- When Ethyl kills Mika, the scene is similar to Iosef getting killed by John Wick.
- The entire afterlife scene with Ethyl's mother is similar to the afterlife scene from Sunset Paradise.
Rise of the Stargazers
- When Ezalco Starlight attacks Robin, Xochtal disapproves in a manner similar to Iroh with Zhao.
- When Moonquill introduces herself, Nightheart snarks with a similar line to Blight's in Batman Beyond
- After attacking a few Glitch guards, Nightheart puts his fingers on his face to look like Bane.
- When taking disguises, Nightheart says he's a Jedi Knight.
- When the heroes confront Xochtal for his crimes, they call him evil. He reacts in a similar way to King Andrias being called the same thing.
- In a battle with Moonquill and Tatasia, Ezalco says an inversion of the famous lines from Rick Astley's Never Gonna Give You Up.
- Xochtal pulls a Mysterio with Robin, Ethyl and Lexie, practically doing the exact same thing to them as Mysterio did to Spider-Man during the psychological torment scene.
The Glitch Empire
- When escaping from the guards and Stormlance's allies, Tori comments that the method of escape reminds them of Minecraft.
- When Stormlance threatens the heroes for info, he does it in a way that resembles Gus Fring threatening to kill all of Walter's loved ones to get him to back down.
- When looking at a blueprint and noticing some of it is classified, the topic of cliffhangers come up. Robin brings up Avengers: Infinity War in a humorous remark.
- In Ethyl's dream, Desert confronts him. When he leaves, he departs with a line similar to Green Goblin's when trying to break Spider-Man.
- During the wedding scene, Zaura's ringtone activates, and it's that of the iconic objection from Ace Attorney, even with music.
- When Stormlance decides to use the Backup Plan to eradicate everyone he has yet to control, the interaction is similar to Thanos deciding to destroy and remake the universe.
- When Stormlance is beaten, some of his and Moonquill's dialogue is similar to King Olly's with Olivia's after Olly's defeat.
