''Just for Laughs: Gags'' (French: ''Just pour rire: Gags'') is a Canadian CandidCameraPrank show filmed in Quebec. It is produced under the brand name of the annual film festival ''Just for Laughs''. Each segment, lasting typically between one and two-and-a-half minutes, involves a hidden camera as the actors play pranks on unsuspecting people nearby and record their reactions, before revealing the hidden camera to them. The gags are filmed as silent comedy, with nearly all original dialogue omitted and replaced by PublicDomainSoundtrack and a LaughTrack. British and Asian versions have been produced in the UK and Singapore, respectively. In 2011 the show spawned a spinoff, ''Just Kidding'', which consists exclusively of kids playing pranks on adults.

* PinkElephants: In [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZwJfXgTO7J4 "Pink Elephant Prank"]], the victim is stopped by a police officer, and every time the cop turns toward the victim, a literal pink elephant with polkadots crosses the open area behind her. The victim, [[YouHaveToBelieveMe with growing desperation]], urges the cop to turn around and look, but by the time she does, the elephant is already out of view. Once the elephant is revealed to "actually" be a woman in a pink polkadot dress, the officer assumes the victim is drunk and hallucinating and makes them take a breathalyzer test.

* YouWakeUpInARoom: One tactic used a number of times is to lure victims onto a relaxation table with a blindfold and earphones and quietly change the surroundings into something completely different, so that when they open their eyes they find themselves as [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P0_wvBc4P9Q the centrepiece of a buffet]] or [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=44K7-4QJI68 a presumed-dead body at a funeral service]], or simply [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ea5h8V7KlDk abandoned in the middle of a busy mall]]. In [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ymYILD1O8T8 one case]], victims being given a complimentary fortune-telling are asked to close their eyes to meditate - only to be awoken by a security guard to the fact that they are now sitting on a toilet, next to rolls of toilet paper, in the middle of the mall.

%% * JerkassWithAHeartOfGold: Some (but not all) of the "Instant Accomplice" gags involve one of the marks being recruited to put this on to shock their partners - [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uNNCBfWQSzk these two]] [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zKE2qCwLgts compilations]] provide a few examples.

* RealMenWearPink: [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TN2iGzqflGQ "Big Biker, Tiny Pink Bike"]]. The victims, whose bicycle is locked to a minuscule pink one on the rack, all ask the little girl playing nearby if that's hers, and she shakes her head. Then a tough-looking, bearded man comes out of the nearby building, unlocks his pink bicycle, and rides away as the victim watches in disbelief.
