Modeling with Millie is a
Although other comics have introduced Millie to the shared Marvel Universe, that's not referenced at all in this series - it's largely a humor comic full of normal people, with no mention of superheroes, aliens or magic.
Later issues are a little less focused on humor, with short stories replaced by chapters in a full-issue tale.
- Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Chili may be underhanded, catty and devoted to ruining Millie's plans, but she has her limits.
- "Kick Me" Prank: In the Life With Millie story "A Passion for Fashion", Chili shows her Jerk with a Heart of Gold side and decides not ruin Millie's fashion show appearance by copying her dress. Millie thanks her with a hug and Chili takes the opportunity to put a "Down with Millie!! Join Chili's fan club!" sign on her back.
- New Season, New Name: The series began in 1959 as A Date With Millie, but was retitled to Life With Millie with issue #8. It then became Modeling With Millie with #21, at the end of 1962, and remained under that title until it ended with #54 in 1967.

- Vitriolic Best Buds: When Chili and Millie part ways in "Goodbye to Chili!", it's clear that they genuinely miss each other. When Toni comments on how relaxing it is without Chili and the bickering, Millie's response is a deep sigh. Meanwhile, Chili feels much the same way. When she returns the two of them share a joyful hug, then return to the bickering.
