    Tatarigoroshi-hen (Curse Killing Chapter) 
The third game, released on August 15, 2003. Adapted into the 2006's anime Episodes 9-13.

    Himatsubushi-hen (Time Killing Chapter) 
The fourth game, released on August 13, 2004. Adapted into the 2006's anime Episodes 14-15.
  • Switching P.O.V.: For the first time when the protagonist is not Keiichi, but a detective Mamoru Akasaka.

    Meakashi-hen (Eye Opening Chapter) 
The fifth game, released on December 30, 2004. This is the first of the four "answer arcs", this one being the P.O.V. Sequel to Watanagashi-hen. Adapted into the 2006's anime Episodes 16-21.

    Tsumihoroboshi-hen (Atonement Chapter) 
The sixth game, released on August 14, 2005. The P.O.V. Sequel to Onikakushi-hen. Adapted into the 2006's anime Episodes 22-26, and 28.

    Minagoroshi-hen (Mass Killing Chapter) 
The seventh game, released on December 30, 2005. The P.O.V. Sequel to Tatarigoroshi-hen.

    Matsuribayashi-hen (Festival Accompanying Chapter) 
The eight game, released on August 13, 2006. Served as the Grand Finale of the story, clearing the main mysteries of the Myth Arc. Adapted into the 2006's anime Episodes 31-36 and 47-51.

    Saikoroshi-hen (Dice Killing Chapter) 
Released on December 31, 2006. It's a sequel to Matsuribayashi-hen and can be considered an epilogue to the series, though its importance is subjective. Adapted into the 2006's anime Rei OVA Episodes 2-4.

    Batsukoishi-hen (Penalty Loving Chapter) 
Released on December 31, 2006. Adapted into the 2006's anime Kira OVA Episode 1.
  • Filler: In the trueest sense of the word, this arc has no relevance to the plot and is nothing but comedy.

    Hirukowashi-hen (Daybreak Chapter) 
Released on December 31, 2006. Adapted into the 2006's anime Rei OVA Episode 5.

    Hajisarashi-hen (Embarrassment Chapter) 
Released on February 22, 2007. A bonus to Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Sui release. Adapted into the 2006's anime Rei OVA Episode 1.

    Taraimawashi-hen (Rotation Chapter) 
Released on February 22, 2007. Serves as a What If? to Onikakushi-hen.
  • Multiple Endings: The ending of the scenario is different if revisited after completing Tsukiotoshi-hen.

    Tsukiotoshi-hen (Exorcism Chapter) 
Released on February 22, 2007. Serves as a What If? to Tatarigoroshi-hen.

    Miotsukushi-hen (Canal Drying Chapter) 
Released on February 22, 2007. An alternative take on Matsuribayashi-hen if significant events from Watanagashi-hen, Meakashi-hen, Tatarigoroshi-hen, and Tsumihoroboshi-hen happened in the same timeline.

    Someutsushi-hen (Dye Following Chapter) 
Released on June 26, 2008. Both an adaptation and a sequel to Onisarashi-hen.

    Kagebōshi-hen (Silhouette Spinning Chapter) 
Released on November 27, 2008. A P.O.V. Sequel to Someutsushi-hen.

    Tokihogushi-hen (Untangling Chapter) 
Released on May 28, 2009.

    Nekogoroshi-hen (Cat Killing Chapter) 
  • A stand-alone novel. It was repurposed as 2006's anime Episode 27.
